WHAT TO EXPECT
Thinking about attending our Sunday service?
Here’s what you can look forward to:
What is the service like?
Our time together, the worship service, starts at noon and usually ends around 1:15 pm. We begin with a member of the worship team leading us in song. Our worship music style is contemporary, with hymns mixed in occasionally. Midway through we host a half-time section to introduce ourselves to guests, share upcoming events, and pray together.
What are the Sermons like?
The sermon happens during the second half of the service. Sermons are Bible-based, and usually delivered as part of a series by topic or theme. They are practical so that you can walk away with applications for your own life.
What do you offer for kids?
From Pre-K to 12 we offer programs tailor made for whatever age your young ones are. Pouring into the next generation(s) is something we are wholeheartedly passionate about. Our programs use fun, games, and prizes to teach kids how to grow thier relationship with God and others using biblical teaching. Pre-K thru 6th graders have Kidspointe during the Sunday service. Middle and High Schoolers meet one Friday a month.
How should I dress?
Casual dress clothes or jeans are perfectly fine, and actually most common. Feel free to dress up or down. On any given Sunday, you’ll see Pastor Lionel (pictured above) wearing a suit and tie, a Hawaiian shirt, or a Dallas Cowboy jersey (yeah, we know…)
